ADICO – L is a mild alkaline iquid, which contains inhibitors, anti-oxidant agents and other special substances.

It is odorless and non-fuming.

Application

ADICO – L is used for:

• Temporary protection of the metals and gives a surface passivation by creating a thin protective film against corrosion.
• After treatment of ferrous surfaces with acidic solutions for protection and passivation.

Directions of use

ADICO – L is used diluted in water in a ratio of 2 – 5 % depending of the hardness of the water and the desired results. For special purposes can be used as it is without dilution.

ADICO – L can be used by immersion, spray or swab and for better results we suggest the immersion method.

When ADICO – L is diluted in hot water (60 – 80 oC) the results are much better because the surface dries faster.

When ADICO – L is used after rust removing or plasma cutting operations all parts must be rinsed very well with water prior to apply ADICO – L.

ADICO-L is used 5% in water after acid cleaning to neutralize and passivate boilers, pipes, cooling systems, evaporators, etc.

Circulate the solution hot or cold for 2-3 hours and empty the system. If the solution is hot 50-60°C the results are better.
