S-5055-HD (LOW V.O.C) is intended to be used for removing difficult paint finishes from aircraft wheels, landing gear components, and other aircraft and support equipment components.

Except paints also removes oils, wax, greases, carbon deposits etc

S-5055-HD (LOW V.O.C) is used full strength at a temperature of 70-100 o C.

Although 80o C is adequate for most applications, a higher temperature is recommended for removing the most resistant coatings.

The parts are immersed in such a way to assume that they are in contact with the lower layer, which is the active one. Allow parts to remain in the product until blistering of the paint coatings.

Remove parts allowing the excess S-5055-HD (LOW V.O.C) to drain into the tank.

Rinse parts with high pressure tap water or steam.

Mild steel or stainless steel is appropriate for the construction of tanks and other relative equipment.

When making S-5055-HD (LOW V.O.C) additions to the stripping tank be sure to add entire contents of the container or severely agitate the container prior to making the addition so the correct proportion of solvent layer and seal are maintained.
