S-2099 is a viscous liquid developed to remove multiple coats of paint. It clings to vertical as well as the underside of horizontal surfaces.

S-2099 is specially designed to remove lacquer and enamel coating finishes from metal surfaces of aircraft or other surfaces.

S-2099 is even suitable for stripping various types of paints such as varnish, zinc chromate primer, epoxy, polyurethane, etc.

S-2099 can be applied as received by brushing or spraying. Because of it is thick is ideal for vertical surfaces.

Allow S-2099 sufficient dwell time for thorough loosening or blistering of the  paint. When paint is loose, thoroughly agitate all areas with a stiff bristle brush. The complete removal of the paint residues is accomplished with high pressure, high volume, cold water or with a steam cleaning machine.

Normally one coat of S-2099 is sufficient to remove more than one paint coating.

Where multicoat systems have to be removed, it may be necessary to use more than one application of S-2099.
