All the products under specification MIL-PRF-680 are hydrocarbon based solvents used as degreasers and cleaners for painted and unpainted metal surface and degreasing of machine parts in equipment maintenance.

TYPE IV (citrus odor with high flash point) is intended for use where a solvent with a high flash point and strong solvency is desired. This solvent is formulated with petroleum based hydrocarbon solvents and d-limonene additive.

Advantages

MIL-PRF-680 TYPE IV has replaced PD-680 TYPE IV and has the following advantages:

Safe to personnel contains less than 0,01% aromatics in comparison to PD-680 that contains approximately 20%.
Citrus odor.
Much safer to metals in comparison to PD-680 TYPE IV.
More efficient (contains d-limonene).
Since it does not contain aromatics it is much safer to the environment.

Usage

Used neat by brush, spray or dipping. Do not rinse off allow to dry.
