KEM – FOT prevents stratification of fuel in tanks, limits sludge and tank bottom deposits maintaining clean lines and separators, provides anticorrosion protection by acids or salt water contamination and finally improves injector spray patterns keeping filters unblocked.

KEM – FOT stabilizes fuel blends, reducing incompatibility problems, accelerates the rate of combustion, forms a protective film on metal surfaces, prevents ashaltic matter in the fuel from agglomerating, demulsifies water from fuel and aids centrifugal separation.

KEM – FOT is to be introduced into the storage tank before bunkering manually or automatically. Typical dose rates vary between 1:2000 and 1:5000 depending on the viscosity of the fuel oil used.
